Crashes and “unfortunately IPTV Smarters Pro has stopped”
- Force stop the app. On Android or Fire TV: Settings > Apps > IPTV Smarters Pro > Force stop.
- Clear cache, then reopen.
- If it still crashes, clear data (you will need to sign in again).
- Free up storage. Delete unused apps and leftover installation files.
- Reinstall the latest version from the official source. See the Smarters guide.

Stuck on loading or “downloading channels”
- Give it two or three minutes the first time. Large guides take a while on basic devices.
- Check the server URL, including
http://and any port number. - Test the connection with another streaming app.
- Restart the device and router, then try again.
Not working on an Android TV box
Cheap or older Android boxes cause many Smarters problems:
- Update Android System WebView and the box’s firmware if updates are available.
- Check the Android version. Very old versions may not run current releases.
- Free storage. Boxes with 8 GB fill up quickly.
- Try an alternative player such as TiviMate or Televizo to see whether the problem is the app or the box.
Login fails or “invalid credentials”
- Re-enter the details carefully. They are case-sensitive, so watch for O/0 and l/I.
- Make sure your plan has not expired and you are within your screen limit.
- Delete the user profile in Smarters and add it again.
More detail: playback and login errors.

Channels play but films or guide are missing
- Use the Xtream Codes login rather than M3U. It loads films, series and the guide. See Xtream Codes.
- Use Refresh on the home screen, or Install EPG / Refresh EPG. See EPG setup.
