The three details you need

Some apps also ask for a playlist name. Type anything you like, such as the brand name.
Signing in, app by app
IPTV Smarters Pro
- Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter any name, then your username, password and server URL.
- Select Add user. Channels, films and series download automatically.
TiviMate
- Choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes.
- Enter the server address, username and password and select Next.
- TiviMate finds the TV guide automatically. Select Done.
Other apps
Look for an option called Xtream Codes, XC API, or Login with username and password. The three fields are always the same.
Why Xtream Codes is usually the best option
- It loads live TV, films, series and the TV guide from one login.
- If we update the channel list, your app picks it up on the next refresh. You do not need a new playlist.
- It is easier to type on a TV remote than a long M3U link.
If your app does not support it, use your M3U playlist link instead.
Fixing login errors
- “Invalid username or password”: check capitals and look-alike characters (O and 0, l and I).
- “Server not reachable”: include
http://and the port number if your email shows one, and do not addwww. - “Account expired” or “max connections”: check your plan is active and you are not over your screen limit. See multi-screen.

A note on the name
“Xtream Codes” was originally the name of server software. The company behind it was shut down by law enforcement in 2019, but the login format it popularised became a standard. Today many legitimate IPTV platforms and player apps support it. Using the format has nothing to do with the old company.
