Before you start
- Install Kodi from the official source: kodi.tv, Google Play, the Microsoft Store or the Amazon Appstore where available.
- Have your M3U link and EPG link from your welcome message ready. See M3U playlists.
- We use PVR IPTV Simple Client, the official add-on from the Kodi team. You do not need any third-party repositories.

Step 1: install PVR IPTV Simple Client
- Open Kodi and select the Settings cog.
- Choose Add-ons > Install from repository.
- Open PVR clients and select PVR IPTV Simple Client.
- Select Install (on some platforms it is already installed, so select it and choose Enable).
Step 2: add your playlist
- Open the add-on and choose Configure. On newer Kodi versions you may be asked to add a configuration first.
- Under General, set Location to Remote path (Internet address).
- Paste your M3U playlist URL.
- Select OK.
Step 3: add the TV guide
- In the same settings, open the EPG tab.
- Set Location to Remote path (Internet address).
- Paste your XMLTV / EPG URL and select OK.
Step 4: restart and watch
Restart Kodi. A TV option appears on the home screen with your channels and guide. The first load can take a few minutes while Kodi imports the guide.

Keep Kodi clean
Kodi itself is legal, but many third-party “builds” and add-ons stream content without a licence and can carry malware. Stick to official add-ons and your own subscription. Read chipped and fully loaded boxes for why.
Troubleshooting Kodi IPTV
- No TV option on the home screen: check the add-on is enabled, then restart Kodi.
- Guide empty: confirm the EPG link, then Settings > PVR & Live TV > Guide > Clear data.
- Stuttering playback: in Settings > Player > Videos, try enabling or disabling hardware acceleration, and see buffering fixes.
