The best way to judge an IPTV service is on your own TV, at the times you normally watch. Here is how our trial works and how to get the most from it.

How to request itUse a button below. WhatsApp opens with your trial filled in, then tell us which device you will test on.

Our trial is 1 month for £10, or £12.99 for the 8K Ultra Max trial. It is not free, but a full month lets you check three things you cannot judge from a website: whether the app works smoothly on your device, whether your broadband keeps up at peak times and whether the content is what you expected.

How to request your trial

  1. Use the Start your £10 trial button on this page.
  2. Tell us which device you will test on, for example a Fire TV Stick 4K or a Samsung TV.
  3. You receive a test login over WhatsApp, with the setup guide for that device.
  4. Install the recommended app, sign in and start watching.

If you have not chosen an app yet, the apps and players guide lists the best option for each device. Most people on a Fire TV Stick use IPTV Smarters Pro.

What to test during the trial

Use the trial like a normal viewing session rather than flicking through channels for two minutes.

  • Peak-time stability: watch for at least an hour in the evening, when UK broadband is busiest.
  • Live events: if sport matters to you, test during a live broadcast. That is when any weakness shows.
  • Channel changing: switching between channels should take a second or two.
  • TV guide: check that programme listings appear. See setting up the EPG if they do not.
  • Picture quality: compare HD and 4K channels if your TV and plan support them.
  • Every device you will use: a trial is a good time to check the bedroom TV or tablet as well.

If a stream pauses, test once on a wired connection or right next to the router before deciding. Most buffering problems come from Wi-Fi, not the service. The buffering guide walks you through the checks.

Genuine trials versus warning signs

Trials are also used to draw people into illegal services. Be cautious if a “trial” anywhere:

  • asks for payment details and then charges automatically with no clear terms
  • promises every Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier League match for a tiny price
  • comes from a seller with no company details, no address and only a messaging app for contact.

Our guide to whether IPTV is legal in the UK explains why these offers carry real risks for viewers.

After the trial

If everything worked, choose a plan on the plans and pricing page. The same app and setup carry over. You just replace the trial login with your new one. If something did not work, contact support with your device and what you saw, and we will help before you spend anything.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer a free IPTV trial?

No. Our trial is paid. You get 1 month for £10, or £12.99 for the 8K Ultra Max trial. A month gives you time to test evenings, weekends and live events on your own TV.

Can I use the trial on more than one device?

A trial normally covers one screen at a time. Install it on the device you watch on most, because that is the one that matters.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial login stops working. To keep watching, choose a plan and replace the login in your app.

Why pay for a trial?

A longer test tells you far more than a few free hours. It covers busy evenings and weekend sport, which is when any weakness shows.
