Smart IPTV is one of the longest-running playlist players for smart TVs. Instead of a login screen, you upload your playlist using your TV's MAC address. Here is how.

Smart IPTV (“SIPTV”) is an independent app and is not affiliated with us. It plays the M3U playlist from your subscription.

Where Smart IPTV runs

Smart IPTV has been available for LG webOS TVs, Android TV and Fire TV, and for some Samsung models. Platform availability changes, so check the developer’s official site, siptv.eu, for the current list before relying on it.

Setting it up

  1. Install the app from your TV’s app store (or the developer’s official instructions for Android and Fire TV).
  2. Open it and note the MAC address shown on screen.
  3. On a phone or computer, go to the developer’s official playlist upload page on siptv.eu.
  4. Enter the MAC address and paste your M3U playlist link from your welcome message. See M3U playlists.
  5. Submit, then restart the app on your TV. Your channels load.

Activation

Smart IPTV offers a short free trial. After that, the developer charges a one-off activation fee per TV, paid on their website. This fee goes to the app developer, not to us.

Tips and limitations

  • Smart IPTV is a playlist player. It is simple and reliable, but has no Xtream Codes login and limited film and series browsing.
  • If your playlist changes, re-upload it with the same MAC address.
  • If the TV guide does not appear, add the EPG link where the upload page allows it. See EPG setup.
