Portuguese TV with us: list licensed Portuguese channels, the plan or add-on and price. This page should only be published if Portuguese channels are offered under licence.
Watching Portuguese TV in the UK
Portuguese channels appear as their own group in your player app, with programme listings where available. Because mainland Portugal shares UK time, the guide normally lines up without any adjustment.
Devices and setup
Use any device from our device guides. A Fire TV Stick on the main TV and phones or tablets elsewhere suit most households. Install a player such as IPTV Smarters Pro and sign in.
Time zones: mainland, Madeira and the Azores
Mainland Portugal and Madeira share UK time all year, and both countries change their clocks on the same dates. The Azores are one hour behind. If you follow a channel from the Azores, its listings may need a one-hour time-shift in your app. See EPG setup.
Setting up for the whole family
- Favourites: put Portuguese channels in their own favourites group so they open first.
- Parental PIN: lock adult or late-night groups if children use the TV.
- More than one room: each device watching at once counts as a screen. See multi-screen plans.
Football from Portugal
Portuguese league football rights for the UK are sold separately from Portuguese domestic TV. Football on our service: state whether licensed Portuguese football is included.
Before you subscribe
Check the current list of Portuguese channels included and test them with our 1-month trial at the times you usually watch, such as evening novelas or the news. A short trial on your own TV tells you more than any channel list.
